About Women of Trades

About The Owner

Jess (J) Kemper has always been a “Jane of all trades."

Give her a problem and she will analyze it. Give her a project and she will figure out how to get it done. Give her an opportunity to help someone and she is usually the first person willing to step in.

That mindset has shaped more than 15 years of experience in hands-on work, where she has developed a reputation for being dependable, detail-oriented, personable, and exceptionally thorough. She takes pride in doing things correctly, not simply quickly, and that attention to detail has earned her years of positive feedback from the people she serves.

Women of Trades was born from the idea that this is not just something she does. It is something she is genuinely good at, something she enjoys, and something that allows her to serve others in a way that feels natural to her.

And while “Jack of all trades” may be the traditional phrase, she has never needed Jack.

She is the Jane.

The Women of Trades Mission

The mission of Women of Trades is to provide dependable, high-quality maintenance, repair, cleaning, and hands-on services with care, precision, and integrity.

We want clients to feel confident knowing that when they call, the job will be taken seriously, the details will matter, and the work will be done with pride.

But the mission also goes beyond the service itself. Women of Trades represents the belief that women belong in every room, every industry, and every trade. It is about showing that capability has no gender and that women can build, repair, lead, solve problems, and create successful businesses doing work they are exceptionally good at.
